Michigan From The Heart 2012 Golf Outing Date Announced

Mark your calendars, the date is set. Saturday June 16th at 10 AM will be our shotgun start at the University of Michigan golf course. This is a bit of a change from our regular Sunday dates and a little earlier than usual. We continue to try to find ways to make it the best event of the year and heard from many they loved it but wish it could be on a Saturday and maybe a little earlier in the day so………wish granted! There will be other announcements coming on who will be appearing and some of the exciting auction items. One of the items involves a very unique opportunity, in a very large stadium, very close by! Michigan From The Heart Announces Hosts and Chairs for the 2011 Charity Golf Outing

Joining us as chairmen and hosts for our June 5th outing this year will be Jimmy King - Michigan Basketball “Fab Five” member and former NBA Player, Anthony Thomas - Michigan’s 1997 Championship Football team and former NFL player and Zoltan Mesko - Michigan’s all- time leading punter and current NFL player with the New England Patriots.

Join us for a great day of golf and meet these former Wolverine greats as they host our event and dinner at the University of Michigan golf course in support of Michigan From The Heart.

15th Annual Golf Classic

We are writing to invite you to join us on the University of Michigan Golf Course on Sunday, June 5, 2011 in support of Michigan From The Heart.

For nearly 20 years, Michigan From the Heart has served as an inspiration to both University of Michigan student-athletes and the pediatric patients and families of C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. On Thursday evenings, Michigan From the Heart arranges visits to the hospital by student-athletes who offer a welcome distraction by spending time with patients and families. Patients are then given the opportunity to watch the athletes in action by attending University of Michigan sporting events as special guests of the team. They even meet the players after their games for photos and autographs. Michigan From The Heart provides further support to these children through their contributions to the hospital’s Child and Family Life department.
